FDIC Raises Deposit Insurance Coverage

The economic stimulus package approved by Congress has  authorized the FDIC to increase deposit insurance coverage from $100,000 to $250,000 effective October 3, 2008, through December 31, 2009. For details, visit www.fdic.gov.
